It’s easy to say the most popular snack item is a Dole Whip at Walt Disney World. What was once only available in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland is now available for your enjoyment in Animal Kingdom, Epcot festivals, the Polynesian Resort and Art of Animation Resort.
A Dole Whip is a soft serve pineapple dessert and extremely refreshing. You can purchase it as just a pineapple soft serve, or as a twist with soft serve pineapple and soft serve vanilla ice cream, or a “Dole Whip Float” in pineapple juice or even as pineapple upside down cake with dole whip on top.
In the Animal Kingdom, and during the Epcot festivals, you can even purchase a Dole Whip with rum added.
You can use a snack credit from the Disney Dining Plan on a Dole Whip is you participate in the Disney Dining Plan, if not, a regular Dole Whip costs $4.49 USD.
Walt Disney World has also added “Aloha Isles” to their mobile ordering locations. This means that if you download the “My Disney Experience” app, you can order your Dole Whip, (or other variation) online on the app, so that it is ready to pick up when you get there.
This means you can order a Dole Whip for a certain time, hop on “Pirates of the Caribbean” and then it will be ready waiting for you when you get off!
Whatever you do, make sure to try a Dole Whip and then you will understand the craze!
