Boathouse is my favorite restaurant in Disney Springs. The atmosphere and dining is incredible. If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, it will cost you two table service credits. However, the food and service is definitely worth it.

If you aren’t using the Disney Dining Plan, most of the options are picking a main (such as seafood or steak) and then purchasing side dishes a la carte. Boathouse even has an oyster bar and a raw bar to try out.
When you sit at your table, you can order your drinks and they serve you warm rolls. I had the Calamari dish to start (as you can see, there is a big seafood theme at Boathouse), regretfully I forgot to take a photo, but it was just as perfect as everything else.
I tend to stick to the same option, as I really like my seafood, because their crab stuffed lobster is absolutely incredible. This one does come with a side of asparagus, and a dish of butter in case you want to drizzle it over the lobster (um, yes please!).
This dish is a 1 1/4 pound lobster from Maine. Please see the photo below:

Some people may be intimidated by cracking open a lobster claw if its something you aren’t used to, but let me tell you, its worth the awkward attempt and you should definitely try it.
As for desserts, you HAVE to get desserts at Boathouse. There’s even some that are larger than life. My first visit there we had the Baked Alaska, which is about $40.00 USD to order it and serves four people (well, they say “four” people, I would say way more!) If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, and have four people in your party, this counts as your dessert!! So you won’t need to spend the $40 for it.

It towers high, of ice cream and marshmallows and they even light it up on fire to give it that true Baked Alaskan feel. This dessert is made up of a graham cracker crust and rocky road ice cream. Its covered in toasted marshmallows and chocolate and is absolutely delicious, and so much fun to order! As heads will turn as its presented to your table.

This past adventure, we tried something new! Very similar to the Baked Alaska, we tried the Macadamia Turtle Pie. Although, not as big as the Baked Alaska, it was still huge! We split it between three people, although it recommends for two. It is $20 USD, half of what the Baked Alaska is, and even more DELICIOUS!

This dessert is made up of Haagan Dazs vanilla ice cream (who can say no to that?), vanilla macadamia nut wafers for a crust, as well as drizzles in chocolate and caramel sauce.
You won’t regret choosing to eat at Boathouse, the ambience and food are so great. If you can get a table outside its really beautiful on the water.

Oh my goodness! Those desserts look absolutely amazing. I just found your blog and look forward to researching all things Disney … but I have to ask … how many times a year do you go to Disney?

Oh FUN! I am a tad jealous! Do you go to Disney World each year or do you ever visit Disney Land?

I had that lobster on Saturday and it was incredible. I sat at the bar right by the water and watched the water taxis go by. It’s a great place that I’m definitely adding to the regular rotation.

I absolutely love the Boathouse! This was actually the first restaurant we ate at with my in-laws the last time we went. I love that it has something for everyone and it just feel relaxing but still very classy. Also, that dessert was incredible!

Great post! We visited Disney Springs last year and it’s truly a hidden gem. Not many people take the time to stop by here on their Disney vacation – myself included, with the restaurants, shops and live music, it’s so fun and worth the stop.
